Cleaning Keurig® K-Cup® Single Cup Brewer Needles

If you find that you Keurig® K-Cup® Single Cup Brewer is not producing the delicious coffee that you are used to then do not despair, it is probably just a case of blocked needles, which takes nothing more than water and a simple wire paperclip to sort out, and within 10 minutes you should be enjoying delicious brews over and over again.  You need to unplug your machine and remove the portion pack holder, this just takes a small push and you are away.  Now with the portion pack holder in your hands you need to detach the funnel part at the bottom.  If it is your first time doing this it may need a good pull.  This will reveal the exit tube, and all you need do is straighten one edge of the paperclip and clear the tube.  You cannot go all the way through but you should be able to loosen the coffee grounds trapped there enough to remove the rest with some running water.

Now onto the entrance needles located in the top of the machine.  Beware that these are sharp.  You should see two holes, just use your paperclip to clean out any lodged grounds and you are nearly done.  Reassemble the portion pack holder, run two water only cycles and you are all done and should be enjoying delicious coffee again immediately.
